It’s time to consider the possibility! The region needs motivated chapter members who are willing step up and learn the job. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that will allow you to further develop your own skills, learn new ones and help others grow. Consider joining the team today!

Don’t delay because the deadline to apply is February 20th!

Candidates are needed for the following offices: President, Northern Vice President, Central Vice President, Southern Vice President, and Officer-at-Large (2). You can download the packet for interested candidates 2012 Officer Candidate Packet.

To run for office, you will need to fill out the online application by clicking here.

Once we have candidates, their information will be posted here for chapters to review in advance of the election.

2012 New England Regional Convention – Registration Open

If you are planning to attend the 2012 New England Regional Convention, now is the time to submit your registration by clicking here! This year, the cost per attendee is $40. We hope to see many attendees this year. Your registration covers your welcome bag, 4 meals, all materials for your workshops, and more.

Please remember that the deadline for reserving discounted rooms through our partner hotel, the Hampton Inn Bedford, Burlington , is February 24. The discounted rate of $89/night is not guaranteed beyond that date.

If you’re planning to attend the 2011 New England Regional Convention, now is the time to submit your registration! This year, the cost per attendee has been reduced to $30, so we hope to see many more attendees than usual. Your registration covers your welcome bag, 5 meals, all materials for your workshops, and more.

Please remember that the deadline for reserving discounted rooms through our partner hotel, the Quality Inn Brattleboro, is February 4. The discounted rate of $65/night will not be guaranteed beyond that date.

Please excuse our mess while we revamp the website for the 2011 Regional Convention, scheduled to be held March 4-6 at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont. All the details on the schedule, location, hotel, registration, and more will be released this week. We appreciate your interest and look forward to connecting with you soon!

The Regional Convention will be filled with informative general sessions and workshops, fellowship with new friends, opportunities to meet with transfer admissions counselors from some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions, recognition of member and chapter achievements, and more – not to mention exploration of the scenic surrounding Greater Brattleboro area!

Convention Speakers Announced

The New England Region is extremely pleased to announce two major speakers at the 2009 Regional Convention, Oprhans International Worldwide Founder & President Jim Luce (pictured at right) and Phi Theta Kappa International Division III Vice President Shamil Mirzoev. Both speakers bring decades of international experience and insight and will be sharing with us their commitment to helping the world’s most disadvantaged children. Our always enjoyable workshops have also been finalized and will be presented by New England Region alumnae/i, officers, advisers, and friends. Additionally, our Transfer Fair is rapidly filling up, so please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the attending colleges before the fair!
