The 2009 New England Regional Convention will be held in March in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, hosted by the Alpha Kappa Upsilon chapter at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Rocky Hill is located between Hartford and New Haven, with easy access to all of the cultural offerings of both cities. Local attractions include Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, the Mark Twain House & Museum and the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, and Yale University in New Haven. Nearby Middletown, home to Wesleyan University, offers all of the amenities of a classic New England college town, including shops, restaurants, and clubs. Convention attendees can also take the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry, the oldest continuously operating ferry in the nation, across the Connecticut River to Glastonbury, which offers upscale dining and shopping.

If your college or organization is thinking about sponsoring part of the convention, please feel free to contact Regional Coordinator Michelle Brinck. Details will be posted here in the coming months.
