About
The New England Region of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society will be holding its 21th Annual Convention from March 20 - 22, 2008 in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, with Alpha Kappa Upsilon (Massasoit Community College) graciously serving as host chapter. About 150 Phi Theta Kappa members, officers, advisors, alumnae/i, and friends will be gathering in the Elm City at the Hartford Marriott Rocky Hill to celebrate the four Hallmarks of Phi Theta Kappa: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship.
The Regional Convention will be filled with informative general sessions and workshops, fellowship with new friends, opportunities to meet with transfer admissions counselors from some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions, recognition of member and chapter achievements, and more – not to mention exploration of the surrounding scenic Connecticut River Valley!
The Regional Convention also includes a serious business matter, that being the election of the 2009-2010 Regional Officers. All chapters should consider attending in order to voice their vote on this important decision. Interested candidates have until March 1 to declare their intent to run.
Whether you are a Phi Theta Kappan, supporter, exhibitor, or sponsor, we welcome you to join us for this most special occasion.
